PT Ometraco Arya Samanta (OAS)

Was founded on November 20, 1987. Its business activities included trading, export–import, agency, and industrial services, with each activity managed by separate divisions. In the early 1990s, OAS formed a new division, Trading & Engineering (TE), through the merger of Ometraco Metalwork & Contracting (OMC)—which specialized in steel structures and plate work—and PT. Esdesons Engineering Indonesia (Esdesons), which focused on mechanical work. This merger became part of OAS, which operated a 10,000 m² workshop facility. In 1995, the TE division was divided into a Trading Division and a Manufacturing Division. In 1997, the Manufacturing Division was restructured into a Civil & Steel Contracting Division, as it became involved in general civil works.
